My Places

My Places has all your saved and captured locations. It also contains POIs and NavPix™ you have

downloaded onto your Mio via MioMore Desktop.

How do I save a location as My Place?

1. Search for an address until the Preview screen is displayed.

2. Tap

to save the location as My Place. The location icon will become red on the map and the create

date/time will display.

3. Complete the following:

If you want to ... Then ...

add or edit location name tap in the location name field to display the Keyboard screen.

After you have entered a name for the favourite, tap OK. The Preview screen will

display.

place a phone call to the POI

tap

Note: This feature is not available on all models.

calculate the route, open the Map

screen and start navigating

tap

. The Map screen will display.

add or edit tags to the location tap in the tags (or add tags) field to display the Keyboard screen.

After you have entered one or more tags for the favourite, tap OK. The Preview

screen will display.

add or edit notes to the location tap in the notes (or add notes) field to display the Keyboard screen.

After you have entered the notes for the favourite, tap OK. The Preview screen will

display.

search for an intersection nearby tap Search for Intersections. The search results screen will display, or the Keyboard

screen will display where you can enter the street name of the intersection.

explore the area near the location

tap

. The Explore screen will display a list of the selected POI category based

upon your location. (See “How do I use the Explore map?” on page 14 for details.)

delete the favourite location

tap
